President Donald Trump has sharply criticized the gruesome murder of a motel manager of Indian descent hotel manager in Texas recently.

"The time for being lenient on these Illegal Immigrant Criminals is OVER under my watch," Trump stated in a message on his social media platform.

Background of the Shocking Attack

The victim, fifty years old, was allegedly attacked with a bladed weapon by his colleague the accused in front of his wife and child after a dispute over a malfunctioning appliance.

The President’s Statement

Trump vowed that Mr Cobos-Martinez "will face justice to the maximum of the law" and is to be "indicted for murder in the first degree."

He also blamed the current administration, saying that Mr Cobos-Martinez had been earlier detained for several crimes, including alleged child abuse, but was "freed back into society because his home country refused to accept his return."

Immigration Status of the Accused

As per official sources, Mr Cobos-Martinez is an undocumented immigrant with a final order of removal from the US.

He was allegedly in detention at a center in Dallas but was released on an order of supervision in January after authorities "would not accept him due to his background."
