Helicopter Twirls Wildly into Palm Fronds at Frequented California Beach
A chopper flying above a popular southern California shoreline suddenly began spiraling wildly, eventually losing altitude and plunging into a row of palm fronds as spectators watched.
Videos uploaded online depict the aircraft beginning to twirl near the shoreline then plunging near the edge of the beach, where it gets stuck amidst palm trees and a staircase near the coastal road.
First Aid Information
Emergency responders stated five individuals were taken to hospital including two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the incident on Saturday.
Three people on the street were harmed. Details on their injuries were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
