As stated in legal filings, the individual accused of the shooting targeting conservative commentator Charlie Kirk exchanged multiple digital messages with their housemate after the event.

Legal authorities revealed that the housemate informed law enforcement that Tyler Robinson had directed them to check beneath his keyboard where a message was reportedly discovered.

Law enforcement disclosed that the witness was a transgender male and maintained an intimate partnership with the defendant.

Below we share the entire log of the text exchange that unfolded on the day of the shooting, as provided by the witness to authorities.

Individual: drop what you are doing, look under the keyboard.

Upon checking under that item, a written statement was located that allegedly said: "I had the chance to target Charlie Kirk and I plan to do it."

Witness: "Are you serious? This is a joke, correct?

Suspect: I am still ok my love, but am stuck in this area a bit longer. Shouldn't be long before I return, but I gotta retrieve my weapon still. To be honest I wanted to hide this till I died. I am sorry for including you.

Roommate: you weren't the person who did it right????

Suspect: Yes, regrets

Roommate: It was my understanding they caught the individual?
